OUR ACTIONS
In 2002, the Urgent Action Fund Africa received its first grant of $100,000 from the Ford Foundation. Since then, we have mobilised funds from Bilateral Governments, Private philanthropy, and individual givers. Over the years, UAF Africa has grown to provide financial and technical resources and solidarity to AWHRDs and their formations across all African countries. This funding has enabled us to support over 2,690 grants across the continent.
