The stories are beginning to come back the same. There is stigma in the community towards those who return from the treatment units or who return from the Holding Centers. Many of them come back to find they are have been evicted from their homes, their property is destroyed or thrown away or stolen, many were not registered for food when the registration took place, so right now when they really require the food, they are not able to get it.
An ACF International worker mentioned how they came and collected information from the survivors and their families and took it back to the office but since then, they have not heard anything back. So they find it difficult to go back to the same communities when they have nothing to report about the help they had promised. People in the community now believe that the names are collected, the items are provided but eh items never get to the people who need them.
